What drives someone to master surprising—some might say “useless”—skills that have captivated audiences worldwide? For Tim Tyler, it’s about fulfilling a childhood dream.
Over the last forty-five years, Tyler and his creation, Mr. P.P., have brought laughter, music, and mischief to theatre, cabaret, and variety shows worldwide. He is best known for his ingenious ping pong ball mouth juggling routine, a world-famous act that has earned him devoted fans on every continent.
An accomplished musician and singer, Tyler toured with the Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra, performed lead roles in the Broadway productions of The Pirates of Penzance and HMS Pinafore across Australia and New Zealand, and appeared as a guest artist with Sydney Dance Company and The Australian Ballet’s Tivoli. His career has spanned international stages, from the Broadway production of Pomp, Duck in New York and Atlanta to Teatro ZinZanni Seattle’s inaugural season 25 years ago.
As Mr. P.P., Tyler has hosted and performed in some of the world’s most prestigious variety venues, including Palazzo (Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna, Basel), Berlin’s Wintergarten, Salle d’Etoile in Monte Carlo, London’s Jongleurs, Circus Roncalli’s Clowns of the World at Vienna’s Ronacher Theatre, The Last Laugh in Melbourne, Jupiter’s Casino on Australia’s Gold Coast, and even multiple Royal Command Performances.

He makes his home in the mountains of New Mexico with his fella, Joe, and you can follow his adventures on Instagram @lebebe.
