Backstage Manager

This position is responsible for working the backstage area of the show at the direction of the Production Stage Manager. The Backstage Manager manages daily backstage needs like staging of prop, artist entrance, timings of stage moves and other technical needs.

Backstage Manager – Substitute

At every step of the guest experience from first contact to follow through, we work to embody Teatro ZinZanni’s core values of collaboration, excellence, enthusiasm, and joy. The Backstage Sub replaces either of the Backstage Managers when they are not at the show. Assists the Stage Manager in all rehearsals, performances, and administrative tasks as assigned.

Sound Operator

The Sound Operator is responsible for the nightly sound operation of Teatro Zinzanni’s three-hour live show. The show has about 9 artists and 6 musicians that play music for the show. The artists are mainly on lavalier mics. which require constant attention while also mixing the band. The show is complicated and requires someone with experience. Sound operator will attend all sound related meetings and provide sound notes to the Stage Manager. This position is responsible for all of the sound equipment and band equipment and will make sure it is kept in top shape. This person must be comfortable communicating with musicians.

Stage Manager – Substitute

The Stage Manager Sub provides leadership and oversight for all show operations when the Production Stage Manager is not present. The Stage Manager Sub will also work with the Production Stage Manager to organize and run rehearsals, maintain company safety standards and support technical staff. They will call all cues for sound, lights, music, and prop moves. They work with the Restaurant Manager on emergency procedures between the show and restaurant. They work collaboratively with production, creative and technical teams in realizing the artistic vision for Teatro ZinZanni through clear documentation and communication. This is a high paced and complicated show.

Lighting Supervisor – Substitute

This position is responsible for the operation of the lighting system of Teatro Zinzanni’s three-hour live show. This person works with the LD, SM, and Lighting Supervisor, to create the best show possible. They work with the Lighting Supervisor in advance of the show on the lighting equipment installation and all related paperwork. They work on the hang and focus of all fixtures. They are present during the cueing of the show. Must have experience working on an ETC ION console and be experienced with the EOS software.

Kitchen Manager

The Kitchen Manager leads the production of show centric 4-course dinners and a la carte menu for 240 guests and the production of show crew meals. This position supervises kitchen operations, ordering, tracking and inventory of products from multiple vendors, overseeing kitchen staff, and the transport, delivery and execution of nightly service, as well as maintaining high standards of quality, timeliness and consistency in execution of the 4 course meals within a live, fast paced theatrical environment.

Dining Room Manager

The Dining Room Manager works under the Food and Beverage Director’s supervision in overseeing restaurant operations encompassing show implementation, integration of beverage and food service with show, staff management (staff selection, attendance and performance), guest relations (guest satisfaction and guest issues resolution). This position requires upholding Teatro Zinzanni core values in the overall operations of a fine dining restaurant in a live, fast-paced theatrical environment.
