Lucy has received the Carlton Award in comedy from the Magic Circle and has been voted Stage Magician of the Year at the Magic Castle two years in a row.

Ulzii discovered her contortion abilities at the age of 4, and entered Mongolia’s National Circus School when she turned 7, where she developed her contortion skills. Already at the age of 9, Ulzii was chosen to join the cast of renowned Cirque du Soleil. Her career began ever since she started traveling and performing in many Cirque du Soleil productions such as Alegria, Amaluna and Totem. After an exciting decade performing all around the world with Cirque Du Soleil and traveling to over 40 countries, Ulzii moved on to create her individual style and began working with other productions companies across the entertainment industry. No matter which new project Ulzii embarks on she always carefully crafts her creation expressing her unique style of performing.

He became the 1st basketball freestyle juggler that brought excitement into the world of theatre, variety & circus with his artistic creativity, showmanship and captivating skillset.
His successful career has brought his performances to prominent entertainment companies such as Cirque du Soleil, Teatro ZinZanni, GOP Variety, UniverSoul Circus, URBANATIX, Wintergarten Berlin, CIRCUS AFRIKA! AFRIKA!, Krystallpalast Variety and many more!
Michael also was the body double/ choreographer for the legendary NBA athlete Kobe Bryant in the advertising commercial of Turkish Airline, became a finalist at ‘Beat The Best’ Dutch television show, delivered the perfect performance in words said by Dieter Bohlen on German television at ‘Das Supertalent’, received the ‘Varieté Et Cetera’ award at Krystallpalast’s Newcomershow Festival and won the 2023 VIVA Fest ‘World Circus Arts Championships’ along with receiving the special award from ‘Cirque du Soleil’.

Her powerful acts combine a high technical level with character work. Lea is known for her unique spinning elements and her captivating stage presence, she has performed in venues all around the world such as Absinthe Vegas, La Soiree NYC, La Clique, Lio Ibiza, Cirque de Demain Paris, Wintergarten Berlin, GOP Variete Germany, Urbanatix.
Originally from Germany, Lea resides in Las Vegas. She is a founding member of the creative production company COSMIC DRAMA, has recently directed the immersive circus experience AFTER DARK and works as artistic director and act creator.
Lea is excited to perform for Teatro ZinZanni in her third season and to spread magic around the tent!

From São Paulo, Brazil. Danila Bim is a multidisciplinary artist, performer, producer, and director who has spent the last two decades expanding her skills as a world-class acrobat. Conceiving, creating, and performing original acts on Cirque Du Soleil, Palazzo, Ringling Bros, and many more prestigious stages.

Duo 19 is made up of Oliver Parkinson and Cassie Cutler, a dynamic trapeze duo taking over the world one theater at a time. Together they push the boundaries of aerial technique to create an act known for its eye-catching tricks and enthralling style.
Oliver is a former MMA champion with a PhD in medicinal chemistry. An overachiever to his core, he became a flying trapeze catcher, a duo trapeze porter and ever since, has toured the world upside down.
Cassie grew up doing gymnastics in Los Angeles, and realized early on that she never wanted to stop flipping. Since then, she’s toured with Pippin the Musical, worked with Circus Roncalli and Circus 1903, just to name a few.
Together, they have traveled the world performing with companies such as: Bacio Rosso, Circus Monti, Circus Sarasota and Palazzo. They are thrilled to be back at Teatro Zinzanni for their second season.

Theodis Rodgers Jr. is an American Jazz pianist and multi-keyboardist from Chicago, Illinois. He has worked in theater, television and motion pictures as a performer, composer, arranger, producer and music conductor/director both nationally and internationally. Theodis has appeared on countless album recordings.
He has been music director/ keyboardist for Curtis Mayfield, Patti LaBelle, Angela Bofill, Jennifer Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Ramsey Lewis, Freddie Hubbard, The Emotions and Dennis De Young.
Theodis is a former member of the funk/rock band Love Craft. He also currently tours as pianist/conductor for Sandy Hackett’s ‘Rat Pack Show’.
Mr. Rodgers’ film credits include a cameo appearance with Sheena Easton in the movie “Indecent Proposal”. He also co-wrote music for the movie “A Family Thing” which featured actors Robert DuVall and James Earl Jones.
Theodis has recently concluded a multi-city tour of Russia with vocalist, Tecora
Rogers and the Chicago Spirituals with performances in concert halls and cathedrals across the country. He has also performed at the Hat Jazz Club in St. Petersburg, Russia.
In 2012, Theodis lived and performed in Beijing, China. He appeared regularly at Beijing’s China Wing Hotel and The East Shore Live Jazz Cafe. He also conducted Master classes at the Beijing Contemporary Music Institute.
Recently, Theodis has appeared along with Classical pianist, George Cooper and Ragtime pianist, Reginald Robinson in a self – penned concert series called ”From Mozart to Monk”.
His theatrical performances as a musical director and/or pianist include productions of ‘Ain’t Misbehavin’, Tony Award winner Hinton Battle’s ‘Largely Live’, ’Dreamgirls’ and ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’.
Mr. Rodgers currently lives and performs regularly in Chicago, Illinois and travels inter-nationally with his Jazz trio.

Percussionist and drummer Jose D Martinez is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Music. He was part of the local music scene in Seattle for about 20 years before relocating to Chicago. While in Seattle, he played with many local jazz artists, as well as performing with Teatro Zinzanni Seattle in various shows since 2008. He also toured with the jam band Leftover Salmon for 12 years, playing various festivals and venues across the USA.

Jon is a woodwind player, studio singer, composer, freelance producer, and film scorer that has performed in Chicago for the past 40 years . His instruments, voice, and writing have been heard on hundreds of radio and television commercials worldwide.
He has performed with Celine Dion, Bob Hope, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Ray Charles, Dionne Warwick, Denis Leary, Joan Rivers, Enuff Z’nuff, Debbie Reynolds & Donald O’Connor, Eddie Arnold, The Temptations, The Lennon Sisters, Dennis DeYoung and Styx, among others. Jon produced more than 700 music tracks for the pre-school music program Kindermusik. He was music director for legendary Chicago DJ Steve Dahl producing and recording Steve’s parody and original songs.

Recently featured on Jennifer Hudson’s hit single “It’s Your World”, and after many years of performing, composing, and arranging, Phil Seed has cemented his place among the “A” list musicians in Chicago. Phil toured regularly with comedian Bernie Mac as an original member of Bernie’s stage band, “The Mac Men.” Soon thereafter, Phil would perform with such industry giants as Chaka Khan, George Duke, Sheila E., and Will Downing. In the Chicago area, Phil is perhaps best known as the longtime guitarist for Detour JazFunk.
Phil has performed with hip-hop and R&B artists Erykah Badu, Common, Marsha Ambrosius, and Eric Roberson. He also worked with Cedric the Entertainer for his TBS Just for Laughs live special “Cedric’s Urban Circus”. Presently he is pouring his musical passion and sense of humor into his much-anticipated solo project.

Bassist, writer, producer and educator Chuck Webb has toured the world many times performing with such notable artists as Aretha Franklin, Grover Washington Jr., Ramsey Lewis, Bill Withers, David Sanborn and many others.
Chuck has performed on hundreds of records, commercial jingles, sound tracks and theater productions including Hamilton, Wicked, Jersey Boys and Motown the Musical. Chuck is an adjunct professor at Columbia College Chicago and the owner of Earth Tone Enterprises production company through which he has produced and composed scores for motion pictures, educational programs, popular music CDs and his own solo and band projects.

Canadian actor, writer, teacher, director and clown Joe De Paul is a veteran of Teatro ZinZanni and is delighted to be part of its 25th year! Joe has directed and starred in multiple productions of TZ from 2007-2021 in Seattle , San Francisco and Chicago. Joe has performed in numerous Cirque du Soleil productions, including his debut as a clown in the North American tour of and in the Emmy award-winning film version of Dralion. You may have also seen him in “O” or Volta. Joe’s unique physical comedy has brought him critical acclaim in various circuses and cabarets in in North America and Europe including Salto Natale in Zurich, PALAZZO in Germany, and Cirque Zanzibar in France. Joe has toured from Spain to Finland with Los Galindos street circus. He has performed as a clown in the Football Show during the World Cup of Soccer in Berlin in 2006, and in 2010 he hosted the Förder Preis, The Zurich Cultural Awards Ceremony. He has written comedy and directed for Cirque du Soleil’s Ama Luna, Ka, Drawn to Life. Joe has authored and performed two full length clown productions, Placebo and Thank God for Tim and Joe that have toured cities in Canada, France and Spain. Joe’s career has scaled numerous heights, including appearances in over 20 film and television events.

Elena Gatilova’s interdisciplinary career began in Crimea at just four years old, where as a rhythmic gymnast she quickly earned international recognition as a five-time national champion, achievements that soon launched her into a global career in dance and aerial performance.
In 2002, Cirque du Soleil invited Elena to join the opening cast of their provocative Las Vegas production Zumanity, where as a principal acrobatic character and lead dancer, Elena performed in more than 2,500 shows, appeared in Playboy, Vanity Fair, on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, on Last Call with Carson Daly, and in the documentary film Cirque du Soleil: Lovesick (Sony Pictures).
Elena has shared artistic spaces with global icons including Cher, designer Thierry Mugler, photographer David LaChapelle, and choreographer Bill Goodson. She charmed viewers on more than 40 episodes of the popular Italian TV show Chiambretti Night. In Macau, Elena shared the stage with Dita Von Teese in Franco Dragnone’s Taboo. In 2017 Elena joined the the international tour of Circus 1903: The Golden Age of Circus, from the creators of the hit Broadway show The Illusionists. More than once Elena has had the distinctive honor to perform for world leaders including the British royal family at in London’s prestigious 2018 Royal Variety Performance, and among others, President Biden and Prime Minister Trudeau at the 2022 Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles.
In addition to starring in many productions of Teatro ZinZanni in Seattle, San Francisco and Chicago, Elena served off-stage as artistic producer for this 25th anniversary celebration.

Ms. Bauer began her theatrical career as a Performer, Creator, Designer and Writer for The Angels of Light – an outrageous socio-political theatre company that created extravagantly original musical productions that took the San Francisco Bay Area by storm in the 1970’s. As a Costume Designer she has seen her work grace the stages of the Bay Area, Las Vegas, Washington DC and New York City. She designed her first Circus in Tokyo featuring members of The Moscow Circus. For eight seasons, she designed costumes for The Brian Boitano Skating Spectacular on NBC. Bauer was once again seduced by the circus when in 2000 she became the Resident Designer at Teatro ZinZanni in San Francisco.

Paula J. Peters (MFA) is an Independent Dance Artist and Arts & Education Administrator. Her teaching, scholarly, and creative research explores the many facets of jazz dance aesthetics, and pedagogy methods which serve all types of learners. Her choreography has been presented at Men In Dance, Cornish Dance Theater, University of Washington, SUNY Fredonia, University at Buffalo, MuCCC Dance Festival, Ujima Theatre Company, Teatro Zinzanni Chicago, BOOSTmeUp Festival, American College Dance Association and International Dance Day Festival, Lebanon. She has presented original research at Society for Dance History Scholars, Popular Culture Association, Dance Educators Association of Washington, New York State Dance Education Association, Dance Studies Association, and National Dance Education Organization national conferences, and her scholarship has been published in Seattle Dance Magazine the Journal of Dance Education in Practice, and in the textbook Rooted Jazz Dance: Africanist Aesthetics and Equity in the 21st Century. She has been on faculty at Cornish College of the Arts, Cornish Preparatory Dance, Dance Fremont, University of Washington, and Pacific Lutheran University, and served as an Associate Professor of Dance and the Dance Program Director for SUNY Fredonia (2016-2023).
During her time at Fredonia, she revised the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance curriculum to be in alignment with National Association of Schools of Dance educational standards and created a new Bachelor of Science degree in Dance. Prior to entering academia, she was a principal member Spectrum Dance Theater in Seattle (1991-2005), performing and restaging works nationally and internationally by choreographers of national prominence such as Anne Reinking, Lynne Taylor-Corbett, Dwight Rhoden, Donald Byrd, Margo Sappington, and Daniel Ezralow.

Benjamin Carne (he/him) is a lighting designer and electrician based in Chicago. Ben’s recent design credits include: Selected acts for Luminare (Cabaret Zazou); Botticelli in the Fire (Jeff Award, First Floor Theater) It Came From Outer Space (TheatreSquared); Body Movement Series (Fever Productions); The Grelley Duval Show; and Shrek the Musical (Drury Lane Theatre). As well as assistant lighting design for It Came From Outer Space (Chicago Shakespeare); A Chorus Line (Drury Lane). Ben is the lighting director for Teatro ZinZanni in Chicago. He is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago.

Carl Wahlstrom is incredibly grateful to be joining the amazing team at Teatro ZinZanni for his second show in the Spiegeltent. Carl has been mixing concerts and sound designing theatrical productions in Chicago for almost a decade. Some of his favorite design credits include sound design for Mercury Theater’s Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Sister Act, Women of Soul, Spamalot, Little Shop of Horrors, Hair, and I Left My Heart; A Salute to the Music of Tony Bennett, Firebrand Theatre’s production of Queen of the Mist, as well as Hundor4U’s productions of Pounding Nails in the Floor with my Forehead, and Below the Belt. In addition to freelancing as a sound designer and live audio engineer, Carl also mixes records, tour manages, produces music, and creates visual art for artists in Chicago and across the country.

Stacey Lynn Emerson, born in Chicago, IL and raised with strong Christian values and beliefs began her walk into entrepreneurship at the age of 23 with the launching of her online clothing store. Stacey is a multifaceted woman with a keen eye for fashion and a love for people. She received her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Associate degree as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2012. Stacey currently operates in her God given gifts as a Wardrobe Stylist where she specializes in the total overall look of her clients. She helps to curate the person they have always envisioned for themselves through style and beauty!
Stacey has had the honor of having her work featured on Bravo, CBS, ABC and WGN just to name a few. Her talents have afforded her the ability to work with many musicians, film producers and many entrepreneurs who are making strides in the communities they serve. Her mission in life is to empower the world with Godly positivity by pouring into every person she meets from the inside out. Stacey believes keeping God’s standards first and allowing His light to shine through her work and her lifestyle has opened doors that she only could dream of.

Kerry is a long time Chicago arts professional who joined Teatro ZinZanni in April 2022. Kerry has recently produced several events for Kalapriya Center for Indian and Performing Arts as well as the inaugural year of the World Comedy Expo. Prior to 2022 Kerry served on the programming team of the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special events where she worked on several legacy festivals like Taste of Chicago, Blues/Jazz/House/Gospel Fests . She also served as the Chief People Officer and President of Training Centers for the world renowned Second City comedy theatre and spent over a decade as the Education Director for the Old Town School of Folk Music.
Kerry holds a degree in music, and has performed and recorded professionally as a keyboard/piano player with several local bands. Kerry is thrilled to be a part of the wild, wonderful, world of Teatro ZinZanni, and is honored to work in the midst of some of the most brilliant and unique performers from all around the globe.

Maggie O’Donnell has been working in Spiegeltent ZaZou for the past 3 years starting with Teatro Zinzanni into Cabaret Zazou and now full circle back to TZ. Maggie is a veteran of Chicago theatre with numerous credits both commercial and not-for-profit. Prior to the shutdown, she was Production Stage Manager for Skates: The Musical at the Royal George. Maggie was in the room where it happened as Rehearsal Stage Manager and Sub Assistant Stage Manager on the Chicago production of Hamilton: An American Musical. She was Production Stage Manager for the 8-year run of Million Dollar Quartet at the Apollo Theatre.
Other commercial credits include A Taste of Things to Come, Altar Boyz, The 25thAnnual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Chicago Theatre starring Donny Osmond. For San Jose Repertory Theatre, she stage managed Sons of Don Juan starring Robert Cuccioli. Other credits include Paramount, Drury Lane, Court, Northlight, Steppenwolf, Goodman, Second City and Ballet Chicago. Maggie also ran the Stage Management Program at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Darek Yong has been working in the tent as a Stage Manager since November 2021. Prior to Teatro ZinZanni, Darek worked as a Stage Manager for various Chicago production companies such as Greenhouse Theater Center, Sideshow Theatre Company, Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company, and other storefront theatre companies. Darek received her MFA in Stage Management from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She has Stage Managed for companies in Michigan, North Carolina, and Montana. Darek wishes to thank her wife and daughter for supporting her in pursuing her circus dreams.

Martin C. Alcocer has been stage managing for close to a decade. Originally from Salt Lake City, UT with deep roots in Mexico, Martin has had the pleasure of working in a variety of genres, such as musical theatre (Pioneer Theatre Co), modern and contemporary dance (Brine Dance, Repertory Dance, Ririe Woodbury Dance Co), opera (Utah Opera), and is beyond excited to have joined the circus and the Chicago community. He has a passion for the arts and has cross-trained, exercising his skills as a freelance Lighting Designer, Projection Designer, and Production Manager around the west, and also working as a Venue Technical Director for Salt Lake County Arts & Culture, and even working on ambulances as an EMT while in Utah. Martin has had the honor of being a part of the USITT Gateway Program and the Stage Management Mentor Program. Martin has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Stage Management from the University of Utah and has served on the College of Fine Arts Ambassador Board. He sends his utmost gratitude to his wife and family for their continued support.

Dan Stecher is a Michigan transplant, who ran away to the circus in 2021. Since his deli days as a prep cook Dan has worked nearly every restaurant position staying in the restaurant industry for nearly two decades. Eventually becoming certified by the Wine and Spirits Education Trust Dan has developed a passion for creating wine and other beverage menus.
Having started in fine dining at the Pump Room, Dan stayed through its transition to Booth One working within both the Lettuce Entertain You and Jean-Georges restaurant groups. Later, Dan transitioned to the entertainment side of the food and beverage world working at concepts like Flight Club Social Darts and the Chicago Board Game Cafe.
