I’ve never been to Teatro ZinZanni. What can I expect?
From the moment you step through the doors into our Belgian Spiegeltent you will be transported into another world where performers break free from the confines of the stage and the action unfolds all around you. No two performances are alike as the wall between artist and audience disappears. A few guests may be invited to participate, many will enjoy table-side interaction with artists, and everyone will share in being a part of a one-of-a-kind celebratory event creating a memorable evening for all. When should I arrive and how long is the show?
The beginning of the show is marked by the striking up of the band and world of Teatro ZinZanni starts to emerge all around you. Once the lights dim, the show is approximately three hours. We encourage our guests to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. The bar and boutique will be open for pre-show cocktails and shopping. Late seating is accommodated at the discretion of the maître d’.
What is the dress code?
We ask our guests not to wear t-shirts, shorts, or flip-flops. Otherwise, we invite you to throw on whatever garb makes you feel the fanciest! A night with Teatro Zinzanni is a perfect occasion to have a night on the town with flair. Our ZinZanni Boutique features a variety of accessories from top hats and tiaras to boas, jewelry, and beyond.
May I bring my children?
Due to the nature of the show, we do not recommend bringing children under the age of 10. It is a three-hour evening filled with sophisticated humor, sensuality and innuendo. There is no special ticket price or menu for children.
May I take pictures?
For the safety of our performers, personal photography is prohibited inside the tent. Professional photographic services are available on the night of the show. There is ample space in the lobby for your photos and selfies. Don’t forget to tag us on social media! #teatrozinzanni

What is included as a part of the ticket purchase?
Your ticket includes an unforgettable three-hour Teatro ZinZanni performance as well as a 4-course meal designed by the Goddess, Debbie Sharpe. Additional items like extra appetizers, handmade cocktails, and a curated selection wines will be available for purchase. You will be charged an $8 gratuity on the night of the show.
Can I get a refund on my tickets?
All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued.
Can I exchange my tickets for another date?
Only Broadway in Chicago subscribers enjoy the exclusive benefit of exchanging tickets to another performance of the same show at no cost. Those subscribers can reach out to Broadway in Chicago at 312.977.1717.
All other ticket buyers must pay a $10 exchange fee per ticket to exchange to another performance. We kindly ask that requests be made 24 hours prior to your regularly scheduled performance. Exchanges requested on the day of the show (or for missed performances) will incur a $35 per ticket fee to move tickets for that day’s show. All exchanges are subject to availability, and any differences in ticket prices between performance days must be paid, in addition to the exchange fees.
Can you hold seats for me and I can pay later?
We cannot hold any seats without payment. We are a cashless venue so reservations must be paid in full with a credit card at the point of purchase. All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued.
Why don’t I see tickets on sale for (insert date here) yet?
Tickets typically go on sale in blocks of tickets, but tickets are available to groups of 10 or more through 2020. Contact Broadway in Chicago at 312.977.1717 for more information.
What is the seating arrangement?
Seating will be determined by the maître d’ on the day of the show prior to opening the doors. We will seat according to the number of tickets in a reservation and can ensure your group is seated together within your section. Tickets purchased in separate sections will be seated separately. We cannot guarantee any specific seats in the venue, but we are happy to take your request in the box office. We will, of course, accommodate anyone with accessibility needs.
May I ask to sit with another party?
If you and your friends make reservations under different names, please contact the box office to let us know 24 hours prior to the show. Guests who show up with two different reservations on the night of the show are not likely to be accommodated.
What if I want guaranteed floor seating or front row seating?
A limited number of Front Row seats are available for each performance as an upgrade to our Center Ring seating – simply request “Front Row” seating either online or by calling our box office. Front Row seating is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis and is a $25 upgrade charge over the standard Center Ring prices.
How many people at a table?
Our venue has tables of various sizes; we can accommodate up to 7 guests together in Outer Ring, 4 guests together in Premium Perimeter, 10 guests together in Center Ring, and 4 guests together in the Front Row. If we must break up a larger party, we will seat all guests in that party at adjacent tables. We cannot add additional seats to existing tables. We can accommodate any size group within the capacity of the venue.
Where is Teatro ZinZanni?

The Spiegeltent ZaZou, a Belgian mirror tent filled with historic touches, is located on the 14th floor of the newly-opened Cambria Hotel in the Theatre District at 32 W. Randolph St, located right next door to the James M. Nederlander Theatre. Once the doors open to Teatro ZinZanni’s venue, guests will be directed by greeters to the elevators from the Cambria Hotel lobby.
We’ve partnered with iParkIt to offer pre-paid parking options for our valued customers at Theatre District Self Park, located at 181 North Dearborn. To pre-purchase parking, select your show date from the list below, or click the MM/DD/YYYY link to search for your show date. If you wish to pay on the night of the show, we are able to validate parking down to $24 (ask the maître d’ for a validation card). There is no longer a valet service at the Cambria Hotel.
What’s on the menu?
A multi-course meal. The menu includes an appetizer, soup or salad, entrée and dessert. There are five different entrees to choose from; one of which is vegetarian/vegan. Entree selections are made at the table. Appetizers will be preset at the tables when the guest enters the tent. Soup or salad, entrée and dessert will all be served by the service staff in choreographed, exciting, “ZinZanni Style.”
I have food allergies. What can you do for me?
Many of our customers have allergies and dietary restrictions. Our chef is very good at dealing with allergies. We always ask each patron if they have any dietary restrictions and note those needs directly in the reservation. The only dietary requests we cannot accommodate are Kosher or Halal meals.
Do you have a vegetarian menu?
Yes! Ask your server what vegetarian options are available.
Other dietary or allergy related requests should be made directly with the Box Office.
May we bring our own wine?
If you have a special bottle of wine you would like to bring with you to the show and it is not on our wine list you are welcome to do so, limited to two 750 ml bottles per party. Please note, there is a $30 per 750ml bottle corkage fee.
What is your policy regarding gratuities?
Gratuities for your meal are not included in the ticket price. An $8 per person gratuity plus tax will be added to your bill on the night of the performance. Additional gratuity for your beverage service or food add-ons you choose to purchase are greatly appreciated.
For parties of six or more, beverage purchases will be presented on one check with gratuities included. (Beverage gratuities calculated at 20% of purchases.)
Can I bring a large group?

Do you do anything special for birthdays or important occasions?
Teatro ZinZanni is the place to celebrate and we encourage birthdays, anniversaries and any other occasion you wish to celebrate. We can help make your evening even more special with a birthday or anniversary gift package from our lobby boutique, or with pre-sale options including wine and champagne. Please contact the Box Office for more details.
Due to Fire Code restrictions we are not allowed to have open flame (birthday candles) on the dessert.
What if I need accessible seating?
Please contact the box office at 312.488.0900 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are a wheelchair-accessible venue and will have regularly scheduled performances with ASL interpretation available. We will announce those dates as soon as they are confirmed.
Does Teatro ZinZanni have ASL, Audio Description, and Open Captioning performances?
We currently have no ASL interpreted performances scheduled. Please contact the Box Office at 312.488.0900 for additional information on possible upcoming performances. Audio Described and Open Captioned performances will be announced as they are scheduled.
Does Teatro ZinZanni have Assisted Listening Devices?
Assisted Listening Devices to assist the hearing impaired at no cost to the guest upon request. Please inform the Box Office when ordering tickets if you anticipate a member of your party needing a listening device.
Can I bring my service animal?
Of course! We’re happy to help make arrangements so that you and your service animal are comfortable throughout the entire show
What is Teatro ZinZanni’s inclement weather policy?
Teatro ZinZanni performances will be cancelled only if driving conditions are deemed perilous by the Department of Transportation. If a performance is cancelled, Teatro ZinZanni will make every effort to contact all ticket holders by email no later than noon of the scheduled day or the night prior for matinee performances.
What happens if a performance is cancelled?
If Teatro ZinZanni cancels a performance (for any reason), you will be immediately refunded the full purchase price of your tickets. For tickets purchased through third-party vendors, the refund will come through that vendor. We will attempt to contact all patrons via email and/or phone to get their tickets rescheduled for a different performance night. Due to logistical considerations, we are unable to directly exchange tickets from a cancelled performance to a new performance; a refund must be issued first.
The use of cameras, camera phones, and audio, video, and digital recorders is prohibited during performances
Cell phones and paging devices must be silenced and cannot be used during a performance
All guns, knives, and weapons of any kind are prohibited on Teatro ZinZanni’s premises.
