When should I arrive and how long is the show?
The beginning of the show is marked by the striking up of the band and world of Teatro ZinZanni starting to emerge all around you. Once the lights dim, the show is approximately 2 1/2 hours. We encourage our guests to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the show. The bar and boutique will be open for pre-show cocktails and shopping. Late seating is accommodated at the discretion of the restaurant host.
I’ve never been to Teatro ZinZanni. What can I expect?
From the moment you step through the doors into our Belgian Spiegeltent with historic touches you will be transported into another world where performers break free from the confines of the stage and the action unfolds all around you. No two performances are alike as the wall between artist and audience disappears. A few guests may be invited to participate, many will enjoy table-side interaction with artists, and everyone will share in being a part of a one-of-a-kind celebratory event creating a memorable evening for all. What is the dress code?
Abandon your inhibitions and celebrate the evening with festive dress. From boas to bangles, feel free to deck yourself out in whatever dressy garb suits your style, but please no t-shirts, shorts or sneakers. Our ZinZanni Boutique features a variety of accessories ranging from top hats and tiaras to feathered masks, boas, jewelry, and beyond.
May I bring my children?
There is no specific age requirement to attend the show; however, it is a three-hour evening filled with sophisticated humor, sensuality and innuendo. It is up to the discretion of the parent or guardian to determine if the show is appropriate for their children. Please note, there is no special ticket price or menu for children and our venue. Babes in arms will not be comfortable.
May I bring my camera?
For the safety of our performers, personal photography is prohibited in the tent and in the boutique. Photographic services are available on the night of the show.

What is included as a part of the ticket purchase?
The purchase of a ticket includes a scrumptious 4-course meal as a part of your Teatro ZinZanni experience. Handmade cocktails, wine flights and menu enhancements will be available for an additional charge if you want to add some zest to your night. Please note an $8 per guest gratuity is charged at the end of the night in addition to any drinks ordered, food upgrades, and applicable taxes that will be charged night of show.
Can I get a refund on my tickets?
All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued.
Can I exchange my tickets for another date?
Only Broadway in Chicago subscribers enjoy the exclusive benefit of exchanging tickets to another performance of the same show based on availability. You must exchange into a comparable performance and seat location. Exchanges will be made from the best available seating. Unfortunately, comparable seating cannot be guaranteed. We kindly ask that requests be made 48-hours prior to your regularly scheduled performance. Any requests for reseating for a missed performance may not be able to be filled. Missed performances are never refunded. Please call (312) 977-1717 with your exchange date requests. Your first exchange will be free. For all further exchanges by phone some fees may apply.
Can I hold seats without payment and/or change my date?
Reservations must be made and purchased in full. There is no reservation without payment. All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued.
Why don’t I see tickets on sale for (insert date here) yet?
Tickets typically go on sale in blocks of tickets, but tickets are available to groups of 10 or more through 2020.
What is the seating arrangement?
You and your guests will be seated restaurant-style at tables and booths in our intimate antique tent imported from Belgium. The action of the show takes place all around the circular venue creating an immersive experience and is visible from all vantage points in the room. We offer general admission, premium and center ring seating. Our Maitre d’ pre-assigns all of the seating for our guests on the day of the show prior to the guests’ arrival. The seating is based on party size, date of order, priority reservations from subscribers or groups, and seating requests that we receive in the box office. The tent is circular and intimate seating approximately 330 guests. The action of the show takes place primarily in the center ring of the tent but will feature moments throughout the tent during the show as well. We do take seating requests in the box office but we cannot guarantee specific seating.
May I ask to sit with another party?
If you would like to be seated with another party who made reservations for the show separately from your party, simply make the request with our Box Office.
What if I want guaranteed floor seating?
Floor seating is only available by purchasing seats in our Center Ring seating section.
How many people at a table?
Our venues has tables of various sizes with the largest tables seating 8 guests. If we must break up a larger party, we will seat all guests in that party at adjacent tables. We cannot add additional seats to existing tables due to the need for adequate space in the aisles for exits (fire code), comfort of guests at nearby tables, accessibility requirements and performers entrances/exits. We can accommodate any size group up to 330 guests and requests for 10 or more should go through our BIC’s Group Sales Department by calling 312-977-1710 or by visiting BIC’s Group Sales Department.
Where is Teatro ZinZanni?
32 W. Randolph St., Chicago IL 60601
The Spiegeltent ZaZou, a Belgian mirror tent filled with historic touches, will be located on the 14th floor of the newly opened Cambria Hotel in the Theatre District at 32 W. Randolph St, located right next door to the James M. Nederlander Theatre. Once the doors open to Teatro ZinZanni’s venue, guests will be delivered via four elevators from the Cambria Hotel lobby.
What parking is available?
Several parking garages surround the area including the Wabash & Randolph InterPark garage located at 20 E. Randolph St and Theatre District Self Park Garage located at 181 N Dearborn Street.
What’s on the menu?
A multi-course meal. The menu includes an appetizer, soup or salad, entrée and dessert. There are three different entrees to choose from; one of which is vegetarian. Entree selections are made at the table. Appetizers will be preset at the tables when the guest enters the tent. Soup, entrée and dessert will all be served by the service staff in choreographed, exciting, “ZinZanni Style.”
I have food allergies. What can you do for me?
Many of our customers have allergies and dietary restrictions. Our chef is very good at dealing with allergies. We always ask each patron if they have any dietary restrictions and note those needs directly in the reservation. The only dietary request we cannot accommodate is Kosher meals. NOTE: if a patron’s allergy list is extensive, please check with the chef and/or restaurant manager and get back to the guest with confirmation.
May we bring our own wine?
If you have a special bottle of wine you would like to bring with you to the show and it is not on our wine list you are welcome to do so, limited to four 750 ml bottles or two magnums per party. For group bookings of 12 or more, this is limited to six 750 ml bottle or four magnums per group. Please note, there is a corkage fee for each bottle.
Do you have a vegetarian menu?
Yes! Ask your server what vegetarian options are available.
Other dietary or allergy related requests should be made directly with the Box Office.
What is your policy regarding gratuities?
Gratuities for your meal are not included in the ticket price. An $8 per person gratuity plus tax will be added to your bill on the night of the performance. Additional gratuity for your beverage service or food add-ons you choose to purchase are greatly appreciated.
For parties of six or more, beverage purchases will be presented on one check with gratuities included. (Beverage gratuities calculated at 20% of purchases.)
Can I bring a large group?

Do you do anything special for birthdays or important occasions?
Teatro ZinZanni is the place to celebrate and we encourage birthdays, anniversaries and any other occasion you wish to celebrate. We can help make your evening even more special with a birthday or anniversary gift package from our lobby boutique, or with pre-sale options including wine and champagne. Due to Fire Code restrictions we are not allowed to have open flame (birthday candles) on the dessert.
I have a wheelchair. Will you accommodate me?
Teatro ZinZanni is accessible. When you purchase your tickets, please inform the Box Office that a member of your party will arrive in a wheelchair, and we will make certain to seat your party in a location that affords them plenty of room to get in and out of the venue.
Does Teatro ZinZanni have ASL, Audio Description, and Open Captioning performances?
There are Sign Interpreted, Audio Described, and Open Captioned performances scheduled for productions at Teatro ZinZanni. Performances are announced as they are scheduled.
Does Teatro ZinZanni have Assisted Listening Devices?
Assisted Listening Devices to assist the hearing impaired at no cost to the guest upon request. Please inform the Box Office when ordering tickets if you anticipate a member of your party needing a listening device.
Can I bring my service dog with me into the theatre?
Of course! Contact the Box Office in advance to discuss any specific needs to ensure we accommodate you and your service dog.
What is Teatro ZinZanni’s inclement weather policy?
Teatro ZinZanni performances will be cancelled only if driving conditions are deemed perilous by the Department of Transportation. If a performance is cancelled, Teatro ZinZanni will make every effort to contact all ticket holders by email no later than noon of the scheduled day or the night prior for matinee performances.
What happens if a performance is cancelled?
If Teatro ZinZanni cancels a performance, ticket exchanges will be offered. Exchanges will be granted for the closest amount of your original reservation, rounding down when an exact match is not available. A ticket voucher will be mailed to the billing address provided when you made your reservation, unless otherwise specified. The ticket voucher will include redemption instructions. Ticket vouchers expire six months after the cancelled show date.
The use of cameras, camera phones, and audio, video, and digital recorders is prohibited during performances
Cell phones and paging devices must be silenced and cannot be used during a performance
All guns, knives, and weapons of any kind are prohibited on Teatro ZinZanni’s premises.
