Tiffany Wilson is a Washington-based vocalist, songwriter, and independent artist. Through her music she is an advocate for social awareness and justice as well as an ally for the youth and their artistic expression. We are thrilled to welcome her into the ZinZanni family and to share her talents with our guests during the Residency at Lotte Hotel Seattle, running October 12, 2023 – March 31, 2024. 

Where are you from and how did you first connect to Teatro ZinZanni?

I’m officially a Seattlelite, but I was born in Memphis, TN and will forever call it home. I’ve heard of Teatro ZinZanni over the years, but it was just recently that my friend Stone asked if he could introduce me to the music director Hans and the rest is history… I’m now connected!

How long have you been performing? How did you get started?

I have a traditional start in gospel being signed to Hendrix Records in the mid 90’s. I was young then and I’m still young haha!

What are your favorite parts of Seattle? Food, landmarks, anything that catches your eye!

I love all of Seattle! I find that when I travel what I miss most is Ivar’s. Whenever I’m gone for long periods of time it’s always my first stop when I return. NY and LA need an Ivar’s for sure!

How do you think the Teatro ZinZanni show experience differs from other productions or shows you’ve been part of?

The hilarious crowd interaction! I’m hoping I’m not so captivated that I miss my cue! It’s so entertaining! The cast is full of superb talent.

Besides music, what else do you do for fun? 

I like bowling, movies… I’m big on family time and learning new things. I recently trained to become a Doula.

Can you give us a sneak peek of the atmosphere or vibe the audience can expect from the upcoming Teatro ZinZanni show in your own words?

I have no idea what to expect other than a great time from beginning to end!
