Prepare yourself for a sumptuous evening of Decadent Delights! A mysterious magician arrives at the spiegeltent hoping his unique brand of culinary enchantment will add a new twist to the dining experience. Joining him is a world renowned chef who literally brings a new spin to the way guests experience the cuisine, while the larger-than-life service staff presents more of a challenge than the owner is prepared for. With the help of Madame ZinZanni, the Maestro will need to find the perfect combination of ingredients that will lead to a recipe for success. Returning to the tent is ZinZanni’s own comedic chameleon, Kevin Kent, and who will be joined by vocal powerhouse Maiya Sykes of Postmodern Jukebox and The Voice fame.

About the Cast
A physical and improvisational humorist, Kevin Kent was a cast member of the original Teatro ZinZanni show in Seattle in 1998 and the subsequent debut show in San Francisco in 2000. To continue his streak of ZinZanni firsts, he was part of the first Teatro ZinZanni touring production in Southern California. Kevin combines his writing, odd notions, and his improvisational skills to transport the audience to exciting and wonderful places. Kevin and his partner, Joe have a company called K. Kent Co. Performance (Look them up on Facebook.) Their original production, Eulogy, is a memorial for a loved one, created new each night from family photos supplied by the audience. Kevin and Joe live in the mountains of Northern New Mexico. Teatro ZinZanni is their home away from home.
Known throughout the world as “The Maestro”, Ukrainian-born illusionist Voronin has been described as the essence of Buster Keaton and Jacques Tati. After graduating from renowned Kiev Academy of Circus and Variety Arts and Russian University of Theater Arts, Voronin founded his own company, The Theater of Cagliostro. He is an acclaimed recipient of first place in magic competitions in Germany, Moscow, and Austria; Monte Carlo Magic Stars award, Magic Hands Grand Prix, Siegfried and Roy prize for Master Magician, and The Great Lafayette award. Well-known in the world of magic for his unique style, director’s vision and original
character creation, Voronin is one of the most sought-after stars of the European cabaret circuit. He is returning to Seattle fresh from his most recent appearance at the International Festival of Magic in Madrid, Spain. An original cast member from the first 1998 tour, this show marks Voronin’s 25th Teatro ZinZanni performance.
Maiya Sykes is a classically trained vocalist, producer, vocal arranger and songwriter. She has provided back-up vocals for many pop artists including The Black Eyed Peas, Wayne Brady, Joss Stone, Michael Buble, Everlast, Avril Lavigne, The Goo Goo Dolls, and Macy Gray. Her voice was featured in the Oscar award winning film La La Land.
Shortly after her four chair turning debut on Season 7 of The Voice, Maiya began working with YouTube sensation Postmodern Jukebox. Her featured videos with PMJ have received over 3 million views and have been mentioned in both Time Magazine and the Huffington Post. She is thrilled to join the Teatro ZinZanni Family.
Russian performance artist Svetlana blends modern dance, pantomime skills, magic, and contortion in the creation of her sensational puppet act. Undulating, shifting, transforming right before your eyes, Svetlana’s puppet has been warmly received by the audience as both a highly skilled acrobatic performance and as a new comedic and romantic character. Trained in the ancient art of contortion from the age of nine, Svetlana studied at the Kiev Municipal Academy of Circus and Variety Arts and has performed at some of Europe’s most distinguished venues including the Wintergarten and the Apollo, Palazzo. Recently, Svetlana received her classical Pilates certification. She is also an original Teatro ZinZanni cast member.
Manuela Horn, also known as the Austrian Amazon, is a yodeling, dancing, acting comedic force of nature. After small roles in independent movies and her own German children’s TV show, she turned her 6′ 2″ height into an asset as a host for corporate events and galas across the globe. Imported from Berlin’s Pomp Duck & Circumstance in 2001, Teatro ZinZanni has given her the performing home she always wanted. This is her 18th year with ZinZanni. In 2009, one of her characters, the yodeling dominatrix, made it to the semifinals of the TV show America’s Got Talent. With an appearance in the movie Rent, Manuela earned her SAG membership. Manuela regularly performs in numerous cities in Europe with other dinner cirque company’s like Palazzo, Da Capo and Teatro. Since 2010, Manuela has become “The Queen of Oktoberfest” by performing Yodel versions of popular songs. Enchanting, mesmerizing and sensuous, Vita Radionova defies the laws of physics with her contortion and hula hoop performances around the world. After graduating from the legendary Circus School of Kiev in 1999, Vita has since performed her elegant and sensual act at some of the finest venues in Europe, including Germany’s Apollo Varieté, GOP Varieté, and Palazzo as well as Circus Salto Natale. In 2015, Vita was a featured contestant on America’s Got Talent Season 10 and made it to the quarter finals. Adding in some Las Vegas magic, Vita worked as assistant magician to David Goldrake at Imaginarium playing at the Tropicana. After performing as featured artist in the 2003 Tiger Lilies circus tour throughout Europe, Ukrainian born Vita Radionova made her North American debut at Teatro ZinZanni in 2004. She is excited to return to Seattle to debut her new act.
Rui has been performing and training in the circus arts since he was very young. At the age of 10 he joined the Flag Circus of China where he traveled worldwide. In 2000, he joined Cirque du Soleil’s “Dralion” and toured North America and Europe for five years. In 2006, Rui joined another Cirque production “Delirium” with his straps act. He presented his act and received numerous prestigious awards including the gold medal at the Wuhan International Acrobatic Arts Festival. Rui was also a finalist of “Amazing Chinese” TV show. In 2010 ¡Caliente! marked the debut of his straps act with Teatro ZinZanni, since then he has worked three years on and off with TZ. In his off-stage time, Rui is focusing on transition into Artistic Direction most recently he finished a world class aquatic production in China by Franco Dragone as Assistant Artistic Director.
“Teatro ZinZanni is meticulous when it comes to hiring its waitstaff. Potential employees must go through dance and improvisation auditions, as well as have excellent communication and service skills. Somehow, Yogi Mohr and Sabine Maier got hired anyway,“ according to the Seattle Weekly. For good reason, The Maiers have been part of the ZinZanni family from nearly the beginning with their world famous Comedy Trapeze Act. After studying circus skills and performing arts in Brussels, Paris and Bristol, they have toured the world as comedians and aerial acrobats for over 30 years. Today, they are still amongst the most remarkable performers in the world of contemporary circus and vaudeville. “Amid all the gaiety and flash of ZinZanni’s three-hour dinner-cabaret spectacle, they stick out like vegans in a steakhouse,“ said the Seattle PI.
Maxim Voronin grew up backstage surround by great performers. At age 15, Maxim made the decision to become a professional performer by entering Kiev Municipal Academy of Circus and Variety Arts. In 2018, Max presented his solo contortion act at Seattle’s own Moisture Festival (the world’s largest comedy/Varieté festival). In May 2019, Maxim won 3rd place at the International Hans Klok Trophy Competition as a stage magician. This is Maxim’s third appearance in Teatro ZinZanni. He is happy to showcase his skills in contortion, foot juggling, diabolo, magic, comedy, acrobatics, and share a stage with his parents once again.
